Directions to Receive NCCER Credentials

Step One

In the columns below, you will find a list of Navy rates that were aligned to NCCER craft training. Click on the rate that defines your military training and review the NCCER craft areas you can receive credit in. If your rate IS NOT LISTED, please click the red button called “Request Alignment” to submit training information for possible alignments to other crafts or click on the beige button called “Rank-Based Alignments” to receive credit for your highest rank.

Step Two

After reviewing all the credit you can receive, scroll to the bottom of the page to submit for credentials. Click on the red button and upload the required documentation needed for Hard Hat Heroes to verify your years of service.

Step Three

Due to the high volume of applicants, please allow 4-6 weeks for documentation review and credential processing.
